"The Ward Camp out of fantastic"...says Kristie. "I could have done without the long drive, lost of kids, sticky marshmallows and messy Cheetos"...complains Chad. Did I mention that I got there at 3 PM and took the kids to the river while Chad arrived at 6 PM just in time for dinner. We left at 9:30, giving him adequate "Chad time" when we got home. I love this boy!
Peterson Girl Sleepover
It is so fun to see my aunts tease their mother, my grandma. I especially loved how grandma swooned at Collin Firth on the big screen but reminded us that Grandpa came first and then President Deiter F. Uchtdorf.
Kate is the latest "girl" in the Peterson clan. She was 5 weeks old in this picture. What a cutie! Can I mention that she slept 8 hours this night? Not fair.

Highschool Friends
A few weeks ago my friend Sherrie organized a friend pic-nic while Kristen was here during her move. It was amazing to see so many of us all in one place. Several of the girls I keep in touch with regularly, but some I haven't seen since high school! We caught up and introduced our children to each other. So many memories ran through my mind for the next couple of days. We had some good times, girls!

Charlotte is 4!
My baby is 4, wait.... she's not my baby any more. Poor Ava, I'm just not adjusted to the idea that I have another one. Anyhoo...Charlie is 4. She woke up and came upstairs with her stinky breath and messy hair and exclaimed "Mom, I'm four. It's my birthday." She was so happy all day. Her favorite gift was her new bike. She's zooming around the neighborhood with no fear. We celebrated with a burrito fiesta. Charlotte like just about any food, but really wanted her spicy smothered burritos with cheese.

Our trip to Maple Canyon was great. Mom, Dad and I enjoyed the first night with a lot of rain and wind and missing tent pegs. It could of been a lot worse. Everyone else joined us Friday night. We had a cold night minus the rain but enjoyed games around the camp fire and a great dutch oven dinner made by Chad and John.

Our hike up the canyon on Saturday. No wonder it's called Maple Canyon. The trees were nearly all Maples.
