Kitchen backsplash

I found this great new product called Bondera. Instead of having to use mastic to stick up wall tiles you can cut and fit the bondera to the wall by taking off the plastic protectant.




When you're ready to put the tile up you pull the protective plastic off the other side of the Bondera and throw the tile on the wall.


After the tile is placed then you can grout. Stay tuned for the finished project!

Dining room overhaul

I've been waiting to paint my kitchen until I feel a little better. I took some time while Chad was at AP camp to do a little remodeling. I have curtains finished, shelves made, and pictures purchaced. I just needed to get the paint up first. I picked a shade from Pottery Barn called Bennington Grey. Ace Hardware was having their Benjamin Moore pain 50% off so I took advantage. You can see the shade is about 4-5 shades darker than my original wall color.

Isabelle was baptized!

Our sweet little Belle was baptized last week. She has been so excited. We shared a special interview with her and Bishop Smith. She was touched by the spirit so much she couldn't help but cry. She bore her testimony to the bishop and it was so special.



She picked out this beautiful dress. She was adamant that it was the one even though it's a size too big. She looked like a princess! Chad gave her a beautiful blessing with Bishop Smith, Dean, Grandpa Brown and Grandpa Jex standing in the circle.
