Independance day

We had a fun day this Monday. We had a BBQ at the Jex's and swam in the pool. John, Chad and I went to see Transformers III. It was great, but super long. John bought some fireworks and gave us a show. This year Utah passed a new arial fireworks law allowing arial fireworks for the whole month of July. It's been a nightmare. Fireworks are blasting every night until 1 a.m. Poor Tessa is terrified everyday. She's had chronic upset tummy. It hasn't been pretty. But, the fireworks show John put on was great.

Peterson family campout

The Peterson, well... Warner and Brown families went to Anderson Cove for a campout. Here Ava is holding her cousin Mason. He nearly weighs as much as her and is almost 4 months.

Chad and John show their manly skills with the lighter fluid.

Deanna and Michelle dry Kate's clothes over the fire.

Uncle Nate tells some scary stories while we enjoy smores and hot chocolate.

Bloody Bones....

The Warners brought their boat and we had a good time on the lake. We rented a canoe and tried to fish with NO luck. The fish were jumping all around us, but no bites!
