"The Ward Camp out of fantastic"...says Kristie. "I could have done without the long drive, lost of kids, sticky marshmallows and messy Cheetos"...complains Chad. Did I mention that I got there at 3 PM and took the kids to the river while Chad arrived at 6 PM just in time for dinner. We left at 9:30, giving him adequate "Chad time" when we got home. I love this boy!

Peterson Girl Sleepover

Every year since I was about 9 we have had an annual Peterson girl sleepover. My mom is 1 of 5 girls. These 5 sisters have produced a lot of girls themselves and now us nieces are adding to the cycle. I seem to be the leader in the "girl" production.

It is so fun to see my aunts tease their mother, my grandma. I especially loved how grandma swooned at Collin Firth on the big screen but reminded us that Grandpa came first and then President Deiter F. Uchtdorf.

Kate is the latest "girl" in the Peterson clan. She was 5 weeks old in this picture. What a cutie! Can I mention that she slept 8 hours this night? Not fair.

Highschool Friends

A few weeks ago my friend Sherrie organized a friend pic-nic while Kristen was here during her move. It was amazing to see so many of us all in one place. Several of the girls I keep in touch with regularly, but some I haven't seen since high school! We caught up and introduced our children to each other. So many memories ran through my mind for the next couple of days. We had some good times, girls!
