Hannah's Baptism

Hannah was baptized on March 1st. She was so excited and a little nervous. The one thing I think she'll remember from this day is that the water heater was broken and the water in the font was freezing! Chad gave a beautiful talk about the Holy Ghost. He was very emotional and we all felt the spirit. Sister Bonsteel (Hannah's teacher) gave a talk on baptism. She did an excellent job. We were happy to have a lot of family and friends there to support Hannah on this big day. She received some scriptures for her birthday and has been reading the Old Testament diligently since. Don't ask me why she started with the hardest book first.

Brown Family Contracts Dust Disease

This weekend we celebrated Mom's 50th birthday at Garcia's. We ate some delicious food and enjoyed the embarrassing birthday song. After we gathered at our home where we worked on our basement. It's nearing the end phases and we're so excited. The Brown boys and Chad hammerd, sawed, and cut wood, plaster and cement to finish our bathroom walls. The dust was more than we were expecting. Emily, Mom, Dad, and I cleaned plaster dust and prepped for painting. It was a good day, but I'm glad the dusty part of the job is over! Thanks for all the help, except for Paul who claimed he needed some "friend time" hee..hee.
